At Ruh Care, we are committed to providing the highest standards of mental health care to our clients. To ensure consistent, effective, and timely support, we’ve established clinical guidelines that all therapists are required to follow. These guidelines are designed to enhance the quality of therapy, maintain clear communication, and uphold ethical and professional practices.
Why Following These Guidelines Matters
These guidelines are designed to create a seamless experience for both our clients and our team. By adhering to these timelines, we can ensure:
Consistency: Keeping detailed and up-to-date records ensures that clients receive continuous and relevant care.
Quality of Care: Timely documentation and assessments help provide a clear picture of the client’s progress, enabling effective treatment planning.
Professionalism: Upholding these guidelines reflects the professionalism and dedication we bring to our work.
Therapist Responsibilities
As a therapist at Ruh Care, you are responsible for:
Completing session notes and forms within the required timelines.
Ensuring that the session status is set promptly.
Maintaining confidentiality and professionalism while using our internal systems.
Collaborating with the team to provide integrated care.
Ethical Considerations & Confidentiality
We hold our therapists to the highest ethical standards. Adherence to confidentiality is essential, and all documentation must be handled securely according to the guidelines of our platform. Be mindful that all information collected through session notes, intake forms, and post-session forms is confidential and must be protected at all times and client data should strictly be stored in the Ruh Care platform.
Below are the key clinical guidelines for therapists at Ruh Care:
Confirming Sessions
Therapists are required to confirm requested sessions within 48 hours of the request.
Why This Is Important: Confirming the session reduces confusion for the client and admin about whether or not a session will take place.
Session Status
Therapists are required to set the session status by the end of each session. This could include marking the session as completed, cancelled, or rescheduled etc.
Why This Is Important: Setting the session status immediately after the session helps maintain clarity and prevent any confusion or delays. It ensures that our records are accurate, and clients receive timely follow-ups as necessary.
Session Notes Submission
All session notes must be completed, signed and locked within 48 hours of completing the session. This ensures that client records are accurate and up to date, allowing the therapist to review and track progress effectively.
Why This Is Important: Timely session notes help maintain continuity of care. They also serve as a reference for future sessions and provide valuable insights for the multidisciplinary team, ensuring a comprehensive approach to the client’s care plan.
