Ruh Care's Calendar can be integrated with other calendars you use, helping to streamline your operations and prevent appointments from being booked when you are unavailable.

This integration makes it easy to manage and align your schedule in one place.

If you happen to encounter any issues, please follow the guidance below to resolve them.

Google Calendar Has Stopped Syncing

Ruh Care's calendar may sometimes lose the necessary permissions to sync with your Google Calendar due to changes in Google's permissions for third-party tools. Ruh Care may no longer sync new appointments or events to your calendar when this happens.

Fortunately, you can easily restore these permissions by following a few simple steps.

Note: Pop-up blockers must be disabled for a calendar sync to work.

Step 1

Navigate to Settings > Calendar > External, and click the "Edit" button to the right of the Google Calendar header. Scroll to the bottom of the right-side panel that appears, and click "Disconnect Sync."

Step 2

Within Google Calendar, navigate to Settings > Settings for my calendars (in the left sidebar) > Ruh Care. Then, go ahead and delete all instances of Ruh Care by clicking on the Delete button.

Step 3

Within Google Calendar, click on your icon, and navigate to "Manage Your Google Account"> Security. If you have multiple Google accounts, please make sure you are logged in to the correct one.

Scroll down to the section titled "Third-party apps with account access." Find Ruh Care in the list of apps, click on it, and then click on the "Remove Access" button.

Step 4

Within Google Calendar (calendar.google.com), confirm that Ruh Care is not listed under "My Calendars" in the left sidebar.

Step 5

Go back to Ruh Care Settings > Calendar > External Sync, and click the"Connect Your Google Calendar" button to sync your Google Calendar again. Within Google Calendar (calendar.google.com), navigate to "Other Calendars."

Make sure that you allow Ruh Care access to your Google Calendar when prompted.

Wait up to one hour to see changes take effect. If you are still having issues with your Google Calendar sync after completing these steps, feel free to contact us at [email protected].

Unsubscribe from a Google Calendar

If you have synced & un-synced your calendar multiple times with Ruh Care, you may notice several "Ruh Care" calendars listed within Google Calendar under "Settings for my calendars."

The unused "Ruh Care" calendars can be unsubscribed from by navigating to Google Calendar > Settings > Settings for my calendars, clicking into each corresponding calendar, and using the "Delete" button for each calendar. Alternatively, you can go to the left sidebar within Google Calendar (calendar.google.com) > My Calendars, and you can uncheck the calendars you wish to unsubscribe from.

We recommend double-checking which calendars are actively synced to avoid accidentally unsubscribing from them.

Outlook Calendar Has Stopped Syncing

Have Client Names Show in Google Calendar

Ruh Care's integration with Google Calendar enables a seamless exchange of events between Ruh Care and Google. Appointments scheduled in Ruh Care will appear in Google Calendar, and vice versa.

For privacy reasons, client appointments generated in Ruh Care will display in Google Calendar as "Ruh Care Appointment," along with the scheduled time and contact type (video call, phone).

If you would like to see your client's full name appear in your Google Calendar, you will need to first sign a Business Associate Agreement with Google.

Send a screenshot of the agreement to [email protected] with the request to allow client details to be sent to Google. The following files will be sent: Client First Name, Client Last Name, E-mail Address, and Zoom URL.
